How did I end up playing the trombone?
A good friend of mine played tenor horn and wanted me to start as well. His teacher thought he did not have a tenor horn anymore and just gave me a trombone. So now I play the trombone.
I’m especially moved by the music of (and why):
In general, I think there are pieces in every music genre that give you goose bumps. Over the last few years, I have gained a new approach and a new sound idea of brass through the brass band Vorarlberg. The warm sound, coupled with the power and energy that can emerge, regularly give me unforgettable moments.
